Shores of Africa Loyalty and Reward Points – Terms and Conditions
These Terms and Conditions, apply to your Shores of Africa (“Shores of Africa”, “SOA”, “we”, “ our” or “us”) Loyalty and Rewards Points (“Membership”) and govern the relationship between Shores of Africa Limited, a company incorporated in England with company number 09016864, and you in respect of your Membership, used by you on our website, and will constitute acceptance by you of this Agreement.
- Becoming a Member
i. You automatically become a member of our Loyalty and Rewards Scheme when you register on our website to shop online; you start to earn points on every purchase you make on our website.
ii. Registration can only be done online and in the name of an individual, and an individual will only be registered as one member.
2. Earning and redeeming points
i. Your registration to shop online enables you to earn points and to redeem those points fully or partially on purchases made on our website. You may also earn Points by other means, and where stated by us, for example, but not limited to; social media promotional activities; following us, liking our social media pages, and or sharing our social media handles to friends and families.
ii. Points can only be earned at the time of purchase via our website, and, or by any other activities that enables you to earn points, as instructed or stated by us.
iii. Points are not earned on shipping costs and taxes, only on actual spend on our products purchased online, or as stated above.
iii. You will earn 10 Points for each pound spent; for example, £10 spend = 100points.
iv. You will get a £1 for every 200 points earned, Points earned, can only be fully redeemed once you’ve earned over 200 points.
v. Points cannot be redeemed in conjunction with ongoing promotional activities, such as discounts or money off offers or promotions on products purchased on our website.
vi. Redeemed points cannot be used again. Points can only be earned, held and redeemed as set out in this Agreement. Any Points obtained or used otherwise than in accordance with this Agreement will be invalid and cannot be redeemed.
vii. Points are personal to the individual Member and cannot be pooled with Points earned by another Member and redeemed together.
viii. You can check your Points balance by logging into your account on our website.
ix. In order to redeem Points:
Purchases must be made online, on our website. Each two Points has a value of one pence when redeemed against a purchase.
You must have sufficient redeemable Points to pay towards a purchase.
Points cannot be earned to the extent that a purchase is made with redeemed Points, in other words; You cannot earn points when partially or fully redeeming your points against any purchase made online.
Points cannot be redeemed against products that are subject to an offer, promotion or discount unless the terms of the offer or promotion state otherwise.
3. Expiry and Cancellation
i. Your Membership on the Loyalty and Reward Scheme does not have an expiry date, unless you deactivate your online account on our website, therefore, any points accrued will remain on your account.
ii. If you cancel your Membership, you will lose the right to redeem any Points that are unused at the time of cancellation.
iii. We may forfeit all accrued Points, and/or suspend your right to collect and/or redeem Points if you are in breach of this Agreement, if we have reasonable grounds to suspect that you are engaged in fraudulent or other criminal activities relating to us, or if you supply false or misleading information to us.
4. Changes to your details
If you need to change any of the details you provided when you registered, please update your details through the Website.
5. Loss of points
i. You should treat your Points like cash in a wallet; if someone else accesses your Membership details through our website, you may lose any Points you have earned in the same way as if you lost your wallet.
ii. If someone makes unauthorised use of your Membership we may, at our sole discretion, partially or fully replace or re-credit any Points accrued. Circumstances in which we may determine, in our sole discretion, that we will not replace or re-credit Points include where we reasonably believe that the notified incident has been caused by your breach of this Agreement or if there are reasonable grounds for suspecting that you are or have been engaged in fraudulent or other unlawful conduct in relation to your Membership.
6. Complaints procedure
Complaints regarding any element of your Membership should be sent in writing to:

Points earned through using your Membership are not covered by any compensation scheme.
8. Customer Services
If you need assistance or if you have any enquiry relating to your Loyalty and Reward points, you can use the Contact Us facility on the Website or you can contact Customer Services by telephone on (+44) 1707 527528 between the hours of 9am and 5pm through Monday to Friday.
9. Data protection and privacy
Whilst registering on our website, you will be asked to provide certain personal information, including your name, address and contact details. We are committed to maintaining the security of your personal information in accordance with the requirements of relevant Data Protection laws and will take all reasonable steps to ensure that your personal data is kept secure against unauthorised access, loss, disclosure or destruction.
10. Liability of Shores of Africa
i. If Shores of Africa fails to comply with this Agreement, it is responsible for loss or damage you suffer that is a foreseeable result of its breach or of its negligence. Shores of Africa is not responsible for any loss or damage that is not foreseeable. Loss or damage is foreseeable if was an obvious consequence of Shores of Africa’s breach or if it was contemplated by Shores of Africa, and you, at the time that you became a registered member of Shores of Africa’s Loyalty and Reward Scheme and agreed to be bound by this Agreement.
ii. Shores of Africa shall not be held liable for any default resulting directly or indirectly from any cause beyond our control, including but not limited to, failure of network services and failure of data processing systems.
11. Your rights as a consumer
As a consumer you have legal rights in relation to goods that are not of a satisfactory quality or fit for purpose and services not carried out with reasonable care and skill. Advice about your legal rights is available from your local Citizens’ Advice Bureau or Trading Standards Office. Nothing in this Agreement will affect these legal rights.
We reserve the right to amend or waive any provision of this Agreement from time to time and at any time, or to terminate Shores of Africa’s Loyalty and Reward program, with reasonable notice, and this will not deactivate or terminate your account on our website. You should check this page of the Website from time to time to take note of any changes we make, as they are binding on you from the date that we make them.
13. Governing law
This Agreement is governed by English law.
